Most people are mesmerized by the thought of earning passive income. Simply being able to wake up at your leisure and know that you're earning money while drinking your morning coffe - or sipping mai-tais at the beach - would be a dream come true for the average person. So how to you get reality to match the dream?
Fortunately, there are a lot of resources online to help you get started - not only with respect to finding out what you might like to do but also helping you do it. For my money, I think Q&A site WebAnswers is your best bet in terms of getting started quickly. However article submission sites like InfoBarrel are also great starting points, and so are many of the social bookmarking sites. With that in mind, here are the sites I think will play a major role in the development of my own passive income streams, and hopefully that of anyone else just starting out:

- InfoBarrel - 75% revenue-sharing article site
- Hubpages.com - 60% revenue-sharing
- Seekyt.com - 70% revenue-sharing article site
- Shetoldme.com - 100% revenue-sharing
- Bukisa.com - 60% revenue-sharing article site
- Infopirate.org - 80% revenue-sharing bookmarking site
Aside from WebAnswers, these are all either article submission or social bookmarking sites. Moreover, they're giving 60-100% of the revenue to the writers. This strikes me as a pretty good way to start earning money online.
